Client: Located in Apex, NC, Saw Dust and Clay is a retail collaborative showcasing custom handcrafted creations of 20 talented artists.
Overview: What made this project a bit more challenging was both working with a pre-established brand map and ensuring all six team members followed this map.
Objective: In this collaborative effort, our team was assigned to create extra brand elements while following an established brand map. The aim of these deliverables was to target B2B marketing. The requested deliverables included a 5-week Instagram campaign, a B2B website landing page, 2 brochures for networking events, a product mark/stamp, and additional social media posts. This project unfolded over a period of 3 months, allowing for multiple client meetings and iterative improvements.
My Role: In my role as Creative Director, my responsibility was to ensure the cohesion of all deliverables while maintaining alignment with the brand’s image. This included overseeing the final presentation of the deliverables. From a design perspective, I crafted a brochure, a product mark/stamp, and several social media posts.
Team: Olivia Fitzpatrick (Production Manager), Amelia Boud (Account Executive), David Manyak (Creative Director), Cori Jones (Recordkeeper), Jean Nunez (Designer), Mason Kane (Designer)
Stamp Design: When it comes to handcrafted ceramic and wood products, the incorporation of a brand engraving is very important. Seeing that the current logo was too complex, I opted to design a simpler alternative that could serve as both a secondary logo and an engraving. By merging the letters S and C, I aimed to symbolize both the unity of the two crafts and the bond of a husband and wife partnership in business.
